The EON (Ethniki Organosis Neolaias) was one of the greatest creations of the 4th of August state. Metaxas believed that the Greek youth should be indoctrinated in the eternal Hellenic values to enable them to create the ‘Third Hellenic civilization‘ (the first being Ancient Greece and the second the Greek medieval empire of Byzantium, which lasted 1,000 years). As a critical tool for the future, the EON entered the life of Greeks from 1 year to 40 years. Theses are some pictures of the organization members and activities.
